It is our last night in this world, as we know it. Tomorrow morning we make our way to Schiphol airport as we journey 7200km to our destination. We will step over the threshold and enter a world that is much different than ours.
We are both excited and are probably more eager than anything to leave winter behind us. The coming week, we will expect highs of 32 and lows of 23 degrees Celsius. That will do just fine I reckon. The past few weeks have been busy, as we have been rounding up projects for our theory part of this minor. In between this, we were finalizing arrangements for India and a special shout-out goes to the Indian Embassy for their swift work in processing our applications. (After 3 tries) We were almost called in for an interview at the embassy as we were applying for employment visas. So with our VISAS sorted the only thing left right now is to print out our flight tickets and we are ready to go.
Okay, at this point I have to point out that I have a confession to make. I am pretty sure I am just about touching the baggage weight limit. It’s not what you think. I have a good few packets of Drop and microwave popcorn that I simply cannot do without. In between all my sweet goodies I have managed to shove in a few T-shirts and jeans aswell.
As an ardent traveler, I am sure we will enjoy our travels. We are looking forward to work at the MM Trust and to see what we can do in India.
So with the bags all closed for the final time, it's time to call it a day and sufficiently rest for our travels.
Will keep you posted.
